What is Yoga at Evolvere?
Yoga at Evolvere in Lane Cove is practice of balance between strength and flexibility, effort and relaxation. Helping you cultivate health and wellbeing by linking your intentions, poses, movement, breath awareness and specific breathing techniques with relaxation and meditation. Yoga at Evolvere is available to everyone with any level of experience.
What to expect?
Expect the class to be more of challenge than you are anticipating. Whilst we meditate and rest in savasana at the end of each class, the class itself will challenge you mentally and physically. You may not nail all the moves in your first class, but if you set realistic intentions, your yoga practice will become second nature, like your breathing.
When in doubt, just join our Yoga Slow Flow classon Saturdays at 4pm to ease yourself into the practice of yoga and build strong foundation.
- Improved flexibility
- Body weight resistance work builds strength
- Linking movement and breath teaches the control of breath
- Improved balance
- Improved ability to manage stress through meditation
Who will love this?
Everyone from beginners to advanced.
However, even though we all assume yoga is easy, it is also very technical. Often, if you don’t understand the poses and know the correct alignment during the transitions, you end up looking around at other students possibly injuring yourself and will feel just all around the place. It’s hard to get the “Yoga glow” when you don’t know what you are doing. Check out the TOP TWO reasons Why Yoga Foundations class is still relevant and check out our Yoga Slow Flow class every Saturday at 4pm.
What to bring?
- Yoga Mat (if you don’t have a mat just yet, you can always hire one at the studio)
- Small water bottle (but we do have tap and filtered water and glasses at the studio)
- Comfortable clothing
- Open mind

“Personally I have never been one to do yoga or any practices alike, other then your usual “gym” routines. I was wanting to find a place where I would be welcomed being on such a beginner level! This is most definitely the perfect place. It is a beautifully blissful space where you are welcomed & encouraged so openly by everyone! Before I even finished my first class I couldn’t imagine never going back! I highly recommend Evolvere to all; the classes and the people are the perfect combination to lead you to your highest vibration!!!”—Marne Williamson
“I went to the regular yoga class and it was a wonderful experience. Tatiana is an excellent teacher with great awareness of my body’s capabilities and limitations. This meant that I could enjoy each pose going at my own pace without feeling any pressure to ‘perform’. The meditation at the end of the class was exactly what I needed and carried me through the rest of the evening and into the next day.
I highly recommend.” —Hannah O’Brien
“I’m a tall skinny guy with tight hamstrings and calf muscles. I’ve also had back and shoulder problems from a very physical job. I have done two beginners yoga courses with Tatiana and they have helped me gain flexibility and strength. I can highly recommend Evolvere. It is a very inclusive studio, the classes cater for a wide range of abilities. Tatiana is a very good teacher, she gives great individual feedback and her happiness is contagious.”—Kent Marcus
